The Garrett Hill Coalition (GHC) was formed on October 17, 2007 to change Radnor Township's planning process in the development of the Garrett Hill Master Plan and Zoning District so the people of Garrett Hill could direct and create the future of their community.  To this end, the GHC elected officers, set committees, and put forth nine (9) Steering Committee Members who served on the Garrett Hill Steering Committee. By resolution of the Radnor Board of Commissioners, the GHSC has become the Garrett Hill Implementation Committee (GHIC) whose members continue to act as representatives for the Garrett Hill residents and stakeholders during the implementation phase of the Garrett Hill Master Plan.

In July, 2008, the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners adopted the Garrett Hill Master Plan. They approved the GHZD Zoning and SALDO ordinances on October 26, 2009.
